Never waste another vial.
The peptide reconstitution calculator that actually makes sense. Enter your vial size, desired dose, and get exact measurements — no guesswork, no math errors, no wasted product.
Why reconstitution precision matters
Most peptides arrive as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder that must be reconstituted with bacteriostatic water before use. This isn't just a formality — improper reconstitution is the #1 cause of peptide waste and inconsistent results.
The math is surprisingly tricky. You have a 5mg vial. You want to inject 250mcg. How much BAC water do you add? What's that in insulin syringe units? Most people either:
Over-dilute and end up injecting massive volumes
Under-dilute and can't measure small doses accurately
Make calculation errors that compound over time
Real consequences: A 10% calculation error on a $200 vial means $20 wasted. Across a 12-week protocol, that's hundreds of dollars lost to arithmetic mistakes.
Our calculator eliminates the guesswork. Enter your numbers once, get precise measurements that work with standard insulin syringes.
Simple inputs, precise outputs
Enter vial specifications
Input your peptide amount (mg), the BAC water volume you want to add, and your target dose per injection.
Get exact measurements
Instantly see how many units on an insulin syringe equals your target dose. No rounding errors, no ambiguity.
Plan your protocol
See how many doses you get per vial, total cost per dose, and when you need to reorder based on your schedule.
Safety guardrails
Warnings for unusually high doses, very dilute or concentrated solutions, and dosing schedules that deviate from research protocols.
Works with any peptide
The calculator works with any reconstituted peptide. We include presets for the most common research peptides:
GLP-1 Agonists: Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, Retatrutide
Healing/Repair: BPC-157, TB-500, Thymosin Beta-4
Growth Hormone Peptides: CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, Tesamorelin, Sermorelin
Metabolic: AOD-9604, MOTS-c, 5-Amino-1MQ
Other: PT-141, Melanotan II, Epithalon, GHK-Cu
Each preset includes research-backed dosing ranges, typical reconstitution volumes, and protocol recommendations from published studies.
Reconstitution basics
What you need:
Bacteriostatic water (BAC water) — sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol as preservative
Alcohol swabs for sterilization
Insulin syringes (typically 1mL/100 unit or 0.5mL/50 unit)
Your lyophilized peptide vial
The process:
1. Clean the rubber stopper on both vials with alcohol
2. Draw your chosen amount of BAC water into the syringe
3. Insert needle into peptide vial, aim at the glass wall (never spray directly onto powder)
4. Let the water run down the side gently
5. Do NOT shake — let it dissolve naturally (5-10 minutes)
6. Gently swirl if needed after 10 minutes
7. Store reconstituted peptide refrigerated (2-8°C)
Shelf life: Most reconstituted peptides remain stable for 4-6 weeks refrigerated. Some (like BPC-157) may degrade faster. Our calculator includes stability guidance for each peptide type.
